We are a City of Heroes supergroup on the Champion server. All of our members are "Spooky/Halloweenish" characters. Witches, ghosts, werewolves ... you get the picture. Champion's own resident real-life superhero The Defuser (aka Detective2416) is hosting a haunted house which this year will benefit breast cancer research. Donations can be given to this great cause by visiting www.scareforacure.org
Yarrrr! The Samhain Society is now coalitioned with the Champion server's resident group of wacky pirates. Whether ghostly or in the rum-soaked flesh these folks are a blast to play with, so look em up.
The Samhain Society has a new coalition partner, the new supergroup: A Coven of Witches. Like The Samhain Society, this is a themed supergroup. All of the members are female witches and have the word Witch in their names. This supergroup is led by @GenderPoison.
The Samhain Society was started on Dec 4, 2004, two years ago today. Happy Anniversary to us!

Adding Raid Status to sign-ups. When signing up for an event, a guild member will be able to specify whether they are available to fill a spot, tentatively available, or alternate (meaning they will fill the spot if nobody else can). The status will be listed in the sign-ups, and admins will be able to click the status of an individual sign-up to change it for a character. Aside from the status options available to the user, events admins will be able to specify Wait-List (meaning the raid is full or your role is covered, but be on stand-by), or Confirmed (meaning the slot is reserved for that character). This will go live with the other 8.19 changes tonight at around 11 PM EST.

Adding link to the Loot Drops listing in the event view that will show you all drops recorded, across all guild events, for that specific item. Viewable data includes: date of drops, who won it, what the event was called, and how many DKP (raid points) it cost (if any).

Cleaning up the event view user interface. The "Other Details" will be more distinctly apart from the layout, spreading across the width of the table, which will provide more room for details with lots of information/pictures and the like.

Adding the ability for members who sign up for events to specify what role their character(s) will play. For example, DPS, Healing, Tanking, Off-Tank, etc. This change will go live tonight with the rest of the 8.18 changes.
